I value your opinions and would welcome any comments and/or observations - That is the ones of you that can read.

To the other knuckle scraping half-wits, never mind!

Everyone welcome so fill your boots.....go on then, take a look at least.

Well I am impressed, it doesn't have any pictures of you on it any more, so that is a definite improvement!  ;D

Overall, it looks good and is informative. :)

Edit: Fin, I wonder who voted for "best website ever"???  ::)

Good Points:

* Its easy to use

* Loaded fast here

* Limited short to the point text

* White background for text & its easy to read...

Bad:

* Not to sure on that logo, personally i think it belongs to a DJ's website something just not right about it...

Other than that good stuff, personally I would have chosen a different font for the text. But good stuff  :y

Honest opinion, what a pile of.....
OK, seriously it's very good, clear & concise, gets the point across.
Not somewhere I'd visit often but then I guess that's not the point.

Good site, Fin and easy to use and navigate.

Only observation is that there are references to 'I' and 'we' in similar areas.  To some this could be confusing?  Is this a single individual where I get one to one training or is it 'we' where I get allocated whosever is available?

Minor point, possibly not the best made, but hope you get my drift!    :y

I'm sure that Corsa would look better with an OOF sticker on the back screen, assuming you haven't managed to break it again ::)

I thought it was rubbish......not a dancing chicken in sight  :o ::)

Seriously....looks good  :y

And you must be busy Fin, judging by how many learner drivers i get stuck behind and see trying to park in a space in a hotel carpark i frequent when im not busy.

Good site Fin.

Points:

* As mentioned, I and We. Caused me issues with my business, so best sorted.
* What's it written in, is it compatible with all browsers?

See below... it's failed an accessibility check, and there are soon to be (if not already) legal requirements to meet these, so that's something to consider.

I was a web developer for a few years, until I grew to hate it, but I'm sure if you need any advice I'll be happy to help ;D

All seems to be there

Personally I don't find the blue font on all the pages very readable, maybe fine tune that a little?

Not much to worry about if thats the biggest thing I can find.

End of day, noone is going to be reading a lot on there, so it doesnt matter that much, eg its a get the info and go site, not like here with browse all day ;)

Not a huge fan of Flash generated sites (this developers speciality) - not easy to quickly adjust and maintain.  Also, as I've just rebuilt my laptop, I don't have an up to date Flash plugin, so it ain't working for me.  I'll have another look if I get around to updating the plugin...

I was referring to the main body of text that comes in, looks like Ariel to me ..... size 16?

Ariel is a good font, but should not really be used as a large font (but thats just my personal opinion)

Not sure what other font you can use, large Ariel for me just tends to look a bit off.

But really they are 2 minor things, key bits are no annoying animations or music. The car bounces then stops, which is good  :y Some people don't know were to stop with animations.

Bar on the left very good, slight grey tint to indicate page your on. All excellent, just a few niggles to sort and your done m8  :y

Proves my point about not being accessible on all browsers, maybe there should be an alternative "text based" link?

Font size, I will probably leave as most people I have asked say it is nice and clear, whcih is the aim.

Flash. I agree, but the very vast majority of my target audience have every gadget you can think of, so flash is there by default almost, along with the ipods, tablet PCs, booze, no money, big debts, union rep badge etc etc etc.

Points taken though. :)

Sorry, wasn't knocking the site, just being flash based and me having an old Flash plugin, it doesn't work properly for me, so cannot comment on site.  And Adobe make it such an ordeal now to install the plugin, I'll have to wait until I get the time...

Nice site, not sure about the logo, the "Driver Training" words are hard to read.

The about us words don't read well.  "A Nottingham based drining school with THE big reputation" , would read better as "A" with "A" big rep, or "THE" with "THE" big rep.

Also, "you get what you pay for - don't cut corners".... implies you are expensive (you might be, I don't know), but I would be more impressed by a sentiment that urged me to consider you as experts (i.e. indicate a qualification or statistic that implies you are better than the run of mill), rather than assume price = quality.

Yep Allen. I agree with most of this. The text is in the process of being changed regarding 'The'.

You get what you pay for is meant to make people think before going to the '5 lessons for £55' people. Our price is shown on the prices page, so they can confirm that we are bang in the middle on pricing. The implication is that if they do decide to cut corners and go to Mr 20 year old car schhol, or Mrs £4 an hour, they will get happy-shopper tuition instead of Rolls Royce tuition. The statistic is soon to available on ALL ADI's via the DSA website, so you can see who gets results at the test centres, and who just takes your money!!

The logo is awful. That is being changed this morning.

Personally i think its very good...not overly professional like some others but that's good in my opinion, nice and easy to use and well laid out.

I couldn't see who you cater for though as in manual or automatic or maybe both,id seriously recommend adding which you teach as i had to spend hours phoning people up wasting there time and mine trying to find someone who catered for auto learners...also might be worth mentioning if the instructor is female or male.

Pass plus at £150 is that before or after the £25 discount.

Prices look very reasonable (fancy teaching the wife  ;D)

Well done anyway. :y
