i doubt fiat could affiord to run VX/Opel
and if they buy it then opel / vx will be bust in 3 yrs
some of the CDTi engines are made by fiat ie 1.3 out of the corsa and theyre terrible

I think that Fiat only want them to get into the American market to sell their Fiat over there. Helps avoid all import barriers and is a relatively cheap way of having a ready made distribution centres through the dealerships.

GM Vauxhall have always made shit cars the corsa is rubbish the astra falls to bits the vectra is an utter joke everyone i know whos had one has had serious expense with a vectra not even vx diesel models are safe DTi diesel pumps fail alot too
Vauxhall stopped making proper cars in 2004 when they stopped making the Omega since then its just been more euro rotboxes
