Title: GM 2.2 Diesel coolant leak from bottom pulley area
Post by: KDXKiller on 04 May 2009, 17:44:01
Defecting Saab owner here, apologies..

Saab 9-3 with the same 2.2 diesel as fitted to the late model omega's.

It has suddenly devleoped a serious coolant leak from the vicinity of the bottom pulley, its dry above and i'm stumped.

My thoughts where that the only coolant in this area is internally in the water jackets in the block - hence my theory of a cracked block.

Given you chaps are more knowledgeable in this motor than the saab types appear to be - help or ideas would be appreciated, as a motor change is looking likely  >:( unfortunatley..

cheers in advance :y

There were 5 or 6 duplicates, now deleted, leaving one for replies.  Hopefully someone will assist.   :)
