Sitting on settee, watchin my 11month old son gleefully throwing dvd cases around the room then climbing up against the digi-box, dvd player and continuously turn the telly off!!!!! :o :o :D :D
SHOULD be filling in 2 online job applications. :-[ :-[ :y
-
I'm sitting here on oof when I should be doing nothing. Thank God (or any other religious person/figure) for half days off.
-
I study accounting/business so therefore i'm at home or in the pub most of the time ;D ;D
-
I've now finally got to get on the laptop after the other half was hogging it.
Was going to carry on getting some online insurance quotes I started last night, but Morethan rang me with a quote I was happy with. Also covered my other car at a good price as well.
So now I can spend more time on OOF.

Am at home after throwing a sickie --- TBH shouldn't have gone in the last two days :-[
Trouble is I am my own worst enemy and try to "tough it out" --- even today I lay in bed this morning and decided to get up and do the washing up .... which washed me out too! After another hour in bed I got up to hoover the lounge, in the process, sorting out Little Count's toys, and generally clearing up .... another hour in bed .... then up to make the wife a sarnie ( she comes home from work for her lunch) ... half an hour in bed ... fed up -- turn on TV ... nothing on ... bored :( :( ... so here I am ::) ::) ::)
Going to collect the littl'un from nursery soon ... he will keep me occupied. Playing "taxi" for me old dad later too !!!!

Thank you Ali .... unfortunately it's a condition that will linger for a few years at least --- some good days.... some bad ( but still have to hit all the targets at work --- and will have to sit through a return to work interview ( even for one day off) ).
No arguements about OOF being more interesting than daytime TV though !!!!!

now sat in front of puter with a beer :y but today i was going to lay in the hammock drinking a beer and reading a book with the occasional dip in the pool :y however what happened was a guy came round and said ive got me car back from the garage and they cant fix it, been told you are quite handy would you fancy having a look?
what did it go in for and how long has it been there i said? :'(
its been in the spainish bodgers mechanics workshop , wait for it>>>>>>>>>>>> since november last year he said :-[ and they have no idea whats wrong with it!!!
so i walked down to his place with a box of tools and a multimeter, and 6 hours later its running!! a 93 suzuki bigboy jeep with just 32000 on the clock, after reconnecting all the bits the garage had taken off injectors, ecu, vacuum pipes for emissions etc etc etc (bastards) came to the conclusion that the fuel pump wasnt getting a feed, oh joy you have to drop the tank guard then the tank to get to the pump :-X
and we have only 1 yes a single volt at the pump!!!! wasnt going to try and trace the wiring fault in a car thats been running around spanish tracks all its life!! so bypassed the whole thing with a switch and fuse to the pump and lo and behold it burst into life!!! he nearly cried he was so happy!! so if a garage has a car for six months why didnt they do the same as me and just go back to basics with it?????
grrr still made a few bob out of it so happy now apart from the fact that me dinner went in the dogs cos i was so long!!! :-/

about :-?
My old dog Winston. He died some years ago aged 15 and was the laziest springer you ever did see..... but the way he looked at you with those eyes....
When I brought his lifeless body back from the vet I wrote some words of tribute and buried him in the orchard.
Strange how the loss of, in this case, a lazy lump of a dog (but a loving one none the less) can come up to cripple one from time to time :(

Im a dog trainer and my life revolves around them 24/7 so I understand your loss :( we help rescued lurchers and it always pulls my heart when they are mis treated, Just had a little girl in from Ireland ;) Little Lil. At least Winston had a nice life with you and is resting under the apples :) and I can relate to the doggy eyes, they get me everytime :) :) :) :)
