Never tried Lexmark before.....my personal choice before being HP.
Was toying with Kodak printers....as they seem to be low cost ownership....ie less than £10 for a colour cartridge and around £6 for black one.
However the Lexmark X4650, has just dropped in price by about £70...from around just over £120 to the £53 i paid :y
For a Wireless 3 in 1 printer.....carnt be bad.....with 3yr warantee.
I shall see how it goes :y

Price on Lexmark ink is expensive. at one point it was cheaper to buy a new printer than the ink cartridge. other than that they are a good printer :y

That was a good few years ago, but now you know how Lexmark were able to sell the hardware for next to nothing to get themselves a foothold in the market.
Aside from the odd letter or bit of homework for the kids, I mainly print on DVD/CD...so I'll buy anything that can take CISS.

I actually like Lexmark printers, they seem to do what it says on the tin and so far have been 100% reliable (6years old) my other HP is also good but if I was paying I would buy a Lexmark.
Should possibly add I have not had to buy an ink cartridge since mid 1999. ;)

I've got a lexmark 730, paid £25 for it. The all in one cartridges are about £13, but they last for ages.

I'm still impressed with that Epson PX700W I bought for £120 just after christmas. It just does what it says on the tin.
Not had to change the ink yet, though have a spare set ready.
Only thing it lacks is a single sheet feeder.

Got a Dell all in one printer, in the boot of the car, still boxed, took it from a site office, can't leave it in the main office, or the area office (probably get nicked), all the servers got nicked last bank holiday weekend from the main office ;D ;D
