Title: Ronnie project 2007/1
Post by: Ronald_McBurger on 09 February 2007, 12:02:53
OK. We are off and running. 9 days after my back operation and I have acquired project number 1 for this year.

I am keeping Mum about the details until I collect it for obvious reasons. Let's just say, this could be the fastest profit ever on an omega. As far as I can guess, it needs one part (which I have) and about 30 minutes to fix.  [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif]

There will be some more very jealous people on here when they see what I got. I say MORE because Laidback already knows the details. When I told him how much he swore many, many times. Which, confirms that I got a really good deal.  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
So..... watch this space.

Ronnie is BACK! :) [smiley=tekst-toppie.gif]

Not that Cdx with the autobox main loom fault/ecu fault that keeps blowing fuses (and no its not the selector switch), the one that requires a complete autobox re-wire, autobox, Auto ecu, wishbones, camcover gaskets, rear shocks, wash, vac, polish, climate bulbs, front tyres.....etc.... :y

Yep that's the one with the blowing exhaust manifold gasket and a funny noise coming from the front of the engine... ;)

Yada yada. We'll see when we see. I suspect the fault is one I can handle. Will make a good profit regardless of certain members negativity! No names mentioned - Mark...ooops

Car will be here next week. I will thenexplain the pro's and con's of buying it. I can say that it will be making its way here under its own power and that the problem is indeed likely to be electrical.

Borderline fix or f-f-f-f-f-f break. I'll have to think about that one. OK, I have thought. I will fix it.

Lets be honest here guys. is there an Omega that can't be fixed? Remember project 11 last year? ther crashed chip fat wagon? Brought back from the dead in 3 weeks and I actuall regret selling it to this day. It was that good!

Anyway, still hunting for project 2 in the meantime. One is NEVER enough.
