i have been keeping an eye on this for a long time now, put a smile on my face when next door but one sold for a load of money and he has only 2 bedrooms, but bigger back garden. We have 3 bedrooms and a smaller back garden. Different but for a comparison, as on my road mine and my neighbours semi's are unique to the whole village, most of the road is different as individual builders expanded in the 30's :y

Hmmm next door sold for £91500 eighteen months ago, no wonder the lad next door gets a bit upset when I tell him ours was only 15k. ;D

I have the same mine was £20k and one down the street went for £95k with 7 years between times  ;D

Thanks for that amazing link, In 1997 I paid £80,000 in 2001 my next door neighbour paid £169,000 for basically the same house, just goes to show the housing bubble has been going on for a long time.

Newest house sale near me is £111,500 more than we paid ;D ;D ;D ;D

And he is an irritating little twit!

Bubble has well burst now though --- houses up the road on the market for £239,950, recently reduced to £210,000 ..... someone I know made an offer of £180,000, and it was accepted --- still got the free carpets etc thrown in !!!!

Pmsl at the ar8ehole next door he overpaid by £100,000  ;D ;D ;D ;D Oh that has made my day  ;D ;D ;D ;D  espescially when me dad only paid £24,000 for ours..... ;D ;D ;D.......OOOOhhh i`m a nasty barsteward today.... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Just entered my postcode in the search, and the only result shown was the house opposite which was bough before mine was built 6 years ago.  Bit pants really

you can expand the search it is set to 1.5 miles on default :y

A Bristol house my ex and I bought in 1982 for £36,000 is now worth £236,000!!! :o :o :o ::) ::)

got mine for £30,000 less than it was 3 years ago, which is nice, and the other 3 on this row all went for more than mine, and they're all half the size!
