May seem a strange request, but I could do with the contact details of the company advertising the Bilstein shock kit for the Omega in the magazine.
Allegedly around £180 for all 4.
+50 posts for the first to supply the information! ;)
Thanks
Dave

Dave,
don't get excited these are the OEM bilsteins which are as good as the standard SACHS units, they are not the proper B6 sport ones. This is the reason why they are so cheap.

Kostas, how much did you pay for yours?
-
**cough**
Can i have some posts added for my efforts then ::) ;)

350£ for all 4 but i bought them in Greece.

I am learning that getting ANY decent aftermarket dampers for the Omega is.... challenging, or in the case of Bilstein. :-Xing expensive!!!

You can get the KONI's (yellow ones) for a good price but you will then have to mess about with the front struts as the Koni's are inserts. BUT i have to say that a decent pair of Kayaba shocks would always outperform the sachs-boge-monroe equivalent.
If you want to set up the car nicely without spending a lot on expensive shocks you could do the following trick. Fit the oem bilstein B4's on the front and on the back get a pair of KONI sports. It shouldn't cost you more than 200-250£.

Interesting.... thanks for that Kostas. :) :y
