How the hell do I get a manual gearknob off the mig, yanking like a gooden earlier but couldn't get it to budge. Anyone ?

Doesn't seem to be anyway to get it off, must be one whole part :-/

Or you could make the rules and use a bigger hammer ::)

they do come off! require lots of swearing but they do come off i replaced my'n with a Carbon fibre irmy one

they have to be forced off and the outer part is easy its the little metal cap under thats a f**ker i ripped the outer part off and then swore alot and removed the metal button bit its supposed to unscrew but i couldnt make my'n so i forced the metal button off with a big screwdriver

See on corsa's and what not they're easy as to get off, as with my BM that was just a quick yank and off it came. Pain in the ar*e.

On my alfa I got an open ended spanner under it and 'it it wiv a nammer' :y
