this is the same bloke that poisoned my dog a while ago
and also watches my daughter when she is playing in the garden

There's an echo in here
-
saying i chucked my daughter in the car
and that i was agressive to my kids
i would never do anything like that to my kids
-
Would imagine if it was anything to do with children the Social Services would have to follow it up.

Well - looking from the outside, if that's his perception, he is right to raise it - even if it's unfounded.
You have nothing to fear by the sounds of it - let sleeping dogs lie :y

Social Services don't do a visit based on ONE anonymous tip off Nick.

loosen his oil sump drain plug very effective!
bit dangerous on motorcyclists though
or drill a tiny hole in his alloys always effective
personally id just keep winjing like f**k to my landlord theyll soon have enough and move you or them!
-
Nick, I can see this going in the wrong direction. Revenge may feel like the best option right now, but then he'll up the ante, and so on.
You really need to sort it out with him. If you cant, then you need to get the council/police/social involved. Think about how this could affect your family if handled wrongly.

As mentioned this is a very delicate subject and needs to be resolved sooner rather then later as often in these cases innocent people (kids) get hurt both mentally and phyiscally in some cases
Hope you resolve it quickly

Social Services don't do a visit based on ONE anonymous tip off Nick.
yes they do
they have to follow up any claim made
Of course they follow the claims up, but they don't follow them up by giving the so called perpetrator an early warning call.
My sister is a do gooding, tree hugging, lentil muncher (aka, social worker) for Rushmoor Borough Council, and I called her as soon as I read your post to find out what the procedure is.
When an allegation is made, they don't go knocking the alleged perpetrators door down at the first oppertunity.
They talk to GP's, schools, neighbours, the whole shooting gallery.
If they have actually knocked on your door, it's because they are not happy with the info they have received from all the above mentioned sources.
As for the other "advice" you have been given about loosening sump drain plugs to dump his oil on the road, etc, I am stunned that Admin let those posts stay, because that makes this place look like a bunch of looneys that advocate behaviour that could potentially cause a loss of life on the road.
@ Admin,
I am coming to the conclusion you should include a "leave this forum now before anybody reading thinks you advocate lunatic behaviour on the roads" button in people's profiles.
Seriously guys, the roads are dangerous enough as it is....but there are a few people here who are coming across as really dangerous individuals with their attitudes....and certain "guests" reading those sort of posts will end up usng what they read here as "proof" that we need the man with the red flag.

all the quotes that people are making are just p!55 takes and we all know there not to be taken seriously
take a chill pill over comment like dumping gravel and maggots in the letter box
as for soical they came to the door told us a claim had been put in and asked to come in
ive got nothing to hide so i let them in and they told me what claim was made and that they could not see and concern and went
ill be waiting for the report from them in the next few days
again take a chill pill killerwatt :y

I can see KW's point though. We know the various revenge suggestions are meant in a lighthearted way, but guests may not realise this.

Here we go again :-?

all the quotes that people are making are just p!55 takes and we all know there not to be taken seriously
Says who Nick?
I am fully aware that text based communication is very limited (limited to 7% of what the person actually means), but I seriously am beginning to believe that there are some real dangerous people out there....and I'm fooked if I want them to be in the same bit of road space as me.
I ripped right in to STMO123 a few days ago because he stated that anybody he belived to be a member of the "middle lane owners club" deserved to have him right up their jacksey flashing the headlights for 3 minutes non stop (unless they were obviously bigger than him, or had the faster car...in which case, he didn't have the nads for it).
As far as I'm concerned...so what if someone is driving like a schmuck.....and does driving like a schmuck yourself yourself (not you personally) make that perceived wrong a right all of a sudden?
take a chill pill over comment like dumping gravel and maggots in the letter box
Comments about crap through the letterbox didn't even touch the sides mate.

I've read one post from you where you said they turned up after a neighbour dobbed you in, and another post where you said it's been going on for 3 years......there is obviously more to this than what you have revealed so far.....so I'll take a step back from commenting unless you want to tell us the whole story.
Very amusing edit by Admin ::)
-
Then you don't know STMO's sense of humour, he is one of the funniest people on here
-
Exactly,STMO was undoubtedly having one of his mischievous wind ups, those of us who have been around here for a while are well used to it and usually find it hilarious. :y
-
I was certainly joking about everything i mentioned! loosening sump plugs is obviously extremely dangerous but was meant to be taken with a pinch of salt my only intention was to cheer nick up! not inspire him to do what i say!
-
Then you don't know STMO's sense of humour, he is one of the funniest people on here
See above...text based communication accounts for only 7% of what is interpreted.....the other 93% which is based on sight, tone of voice, body language, mannerism's, etc is completely lost due to forum limitations.
-
Piss in his fuel tank
If I did that after a Friday night out, the car would probably still run ::)
-
Maybe so, in which case you come across as being rather angry, stamping your feet to me.
At the end of the day we are here some of us for a laugh and a joke on the General Chat Area.
If I wanted to fight and argue I would go down Stoke on a Saturday :y

I'm sorry but "methinks you protest too much" .. I'm afraid any argument you put up has previously been destroyed by your posting lines such as these :

credibilty factor ?? IMHO .. nil

Watching your daughter?
Why?
What is going on there?
I suggest if he is - take things along this angle.

i post 1 thing and yeah people come out in there joking ways to cheer me up like stmo123 he is the and 1 of the funniest blokes on here
as for killerwatt sorry mate but i have noticed that any comment in genral chat that has been meant as a joke you kick off with words like c*nt or however you put it

-
as for killerwatt sorry mate but i have noticed that any comment in genral chat that has been meant as a joke you kick off with words like what a idiot or however you put it
Perhaps if people used emoticons to help give a clue as to how their comment is meant, it would save a lot of confusion.
When we (humans) communicate with each other, we rely on a number of parameters (ie, tone of voice, body language, facial features, etc) being present to help us interpret what the other person actually means.
We rely so heavily on these parameters in fact, that only 7% of what the other person says is used to decide what they actually mean.....so in forum land, we are missing 93% of the data we normally rely on.
As an example, I could say "get the f**k outta here" and it could have several meanings based on how I say it to you.
If I said it with a smile on my face, while giving you a nudge with an elbow as well as a wink from an eye....you would know immediately that it actually means I'm having a laugh and I find your joke funny.
However, if I said it through clenched teeth with a contorted face and a voice that was 2 octaves lower than normal...you would know immediately that I am not happy with you.
Can you see how much room there is for error if people don't use emoticons or make it plainly clear in their posts exactly what they mean now?

this is all happened over a 3 year time scale
and so far ive just stepped back and lauged it off, but its getting to the stage where enough is enough >:(
now can you see my point in being angry against him
as for undoin sump plugs or cutting brake pipes etc i would never do that as it will cause danger to others

Maybe he is just jealous of what others have, family, friends, a life etc :-? i thought about going down the revenge line but it makes you feel ok for a while but won't solve it. Have you ever tried being nice to him ::) as in everytime you see him say hi, everytime he looks your way wave, blow him a kiss anything but give him the reaction he wants. Im an expert on this ( thats another story :P ) or maybe your wife/partner/girlfriend/boyfriend :D :D can start to be over nice to him ;) ;) it may go against everything you feel about him but it worked for me :y just one of the things my ex did was reported me for mis treating a dog, the rescue visited, thought I was fab and gave me another dog and a contract to help lots more :) I phoned my ex and thanked him ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

It sounds to me as if this bloke is mentally ill. Watching children is not special if he watches everyone else as well.
Your best bet should be the Social Services who might be able to get him sectioned if there's any evidence that he might harm someone.
Otherwise, if you can't cope you need to put distance between you.
I hope things improve without you doing anything rash. :y

I personally think you need to consult a solicitor on the basis that he is harrassing you Nick.
On the first occasion they won't be able to do much other than get a restraining order against him, but the minute he breaks that (and it sounds like he will) then the courts get seriously pi**ed off as they don't like having their orders flouted.
Let the law do your dirty work for you ;)

Here are a few ideas,
1) taller fences
2) point a CCTV camera at his window
3) Hedges
4) Every time he looks at you take a picture
that 1 reason why ive been trying to build a motor onto the cam so i can move it around
You cant play with the motor everytime..use more (hidden if possible) cameras instead..
i gotta be careful as ive already had the council round to check where my cams point
have a guess who grassed me up to the council about my camera's >:(
someone disturbed from cameras reminds me that he's on something wrong :(

report him to the police for noncing if hes eyeing your daughter up then im sure the police should take a peek at his HDD
Put it this way mate,if someone was eyeing my daughter up,he would have some kind of offensive weapon round the back of his head. Some things are forgivable, but when it comes to something like that, not in my book mate : :(

But what would they do if you reported him to the police and said you had seen him masturbating at the window whilst your kids were in the garden. Not that I would suggest you ever reported him for that.

You gotta be 100% sure when playing the nonce card against someone.

If you're gonna consider going down that road Nick, you might as well do the job properly instead of playing the intimidation game.
The proper job is throw him in the boot of a car, take him to a flat that no-one knows about, strip him, tie him up, beat him, inject him with heroin daily for at least 30 days, then throw him stark naked back on to the street clucking like a bitch for his next fix.
PS
I'm not suggesting for one minute you actually do that of course, but if you're gonna do a job then do it properly.
-
Very true. But is he just a nosey old got that is bored stupid, or . . . .
Who knows these days.
My neighber for examaple has a habbit of telling kids off about rubbish and reporting people as she see's fit. Now as some of you may remember, this is my Neurotic neighber, who is on benefits and has just ripped her insurance company off for the second time. Keeps doing DIY at up to 4 AM and just just a complete pain.
Allthough she is a complete PITA I have to live next door to her, so I turn a blind eye. But it seems the young lads didnt take to kindly to her. Seems they jumped her 6 foot fence and slashed 3 of her car tyres. Then after annother go at them it seems they cleared the shop fronts of dog poo for her . . . . . . . . . and put it through her letter box late one night.
You should have told those lads that were doing drugs down the side of your car that time, that the old man had reported them . . . .and then wait for the revenge.
