Title: Anyone own an 810i?
Post by: Admin on 11 February 2007, 07:25:17
I have been offered a Sony Ericsson W810i for not a lot.

Now, does anyone have this phone and do they have any comments?
NB:this excludes Jaime as the swear filter will go into overdrive as I mentioned Sony!  ;D

Reviews rate it very highly.
I am interested as it has an MP3 player and a decent camera which will be useful.
Most of the time though it will just be used as a phone

I can't really comment Dave, I don't really keep up with new phones. I'm currently using a Nokia one that's about 3 years old!

Absolutely awful piece of junk. Terrible. Crap. Total rubbish. Not worth a bean. Look mate, when you are round here later bring it with you and I'll do you a favour and give you a tenner for it. Can't say fairer than that. What do you say?

Risk of overloading the swear filter prevents me from responding in the manner I would like!

Suffice to say I will have to decline your "offer"  ;)

They sell well in our place Dave !

And more importantly my staff like selling them - easy sell - due to features and benefits.

As for handset returns....Nokia's frequently come back disliked and occasionally faulty....Sony never see 'em again.

Will ask around tomorow at work if your still undecided then  :y

i prefer Nokia's the menu design and general interface i find better and easier to use. I tried a Sony Ericsson, Samsung and other makes with my contract but i sent them all back...
