Its only when the forum has been down at times during the last few days :( that I have realised how important this site has become for me :o :o
I missed learning things, the banter and the abuse ;D ;D
A huge thanks to The Boy and the other Admins in getting the site back up and working :y :y
I'm sure I'm not the only one who missed it :) :)

Certainly is, and a very worthy arse Loones. My memory suggest he rode a a stint at the LeMans 24hour... Seems like last year, which probably means it was actually about 5years ago or similar.

Aeye, such a shame they got so banged up doing it.
Still cant beleive what happened to Rainey. Just aint right...
I read somewhere the first mk1 fireblade had the same bhp as those "animal" 2 strokes. An adjustable throttle as opposed to on off switch though i guess.

Excellent rider Rainey too, like you say a crying shame...
Don't know about the fireblade being the same bhp so would not argue, but they were quick for the time, plus they didn't have abs etc etc...... plus the sound of the 500 2 strokers was awesome :y

Theres a guy must live local round here with an RD 500 ,mint with replacment exhaust, which must have cost a few quid. Sight is a bit dated, but the sound and smell....Aaaaah.... If its got 90 ponys id be suprised.
