We've just brought a Fiesta Courier van with the side windows for SWMBO to take the mutt out in and I've got to limo black the rear windows and side windows. As I used to fit tints in a former life I'll do them with the class in place. Just don't for get the 70% rule for the front windows ;) :y

The annoying thing about that particular rule is that after you take the tint off, you can then put on sunglasses that are 5 times as dark and there's no special rule for that!  Ill thought out I'm afraid as with many of the recent tranche of regulations.

The difference is that they can see you whilst you're driving & see what you're up to ;)
I've  had a few cars in the past that i've had Black Limo on all the windows except the front screen & Mr Plod don't like it when they can't see who's driving, hence the new regs.

I'd have thought it was more to do with being able to see out of the windows.  ;)
I have an (ilegal ::)) iridium visor for my crash helmet and while it's brilliant in the sun you can't see through it properly in the dark & wet.

I never had any problems with visibility at any time & neither did my mate :)
