an article regarding standard warranties given on purchased items.
it is believed that the "standard" year is all that you are entitled to, but you are eligible to the EU warranty of two years. it is also know that items should have a life of six years so there is a refund/exchange possibility there also......
so next time me or the missus buy something and it does its usual self distruct at 12months and 2hours i will be taking it back (with the article) demanding refund/exchange, this has happened to a gentlemen returning a tv after 18 months demanding his eu consumer rights.......... :y

do you mean to say the EU has actually got something that benefits us :o, well thats a first ;)

i know and im gonna take advantage of every eu directive i can....... :y
