I'm looking at up grading my alloys to VXR snowflakes 18" or 19" or maybe even astra VXR 19". Is there any problems in fitting? and does anyone have any photos of similar alloys? Am i right in thinking 225/40/18 will fit with no rub on the 18"? Cheers... ;)

Some one here has the 19" Snowflakes on his met Blue Facelift saloon.
If memeory serves, he only used spacers (through choice rather than necessity but I'm sure he'll correct me if I'm wrong).
As they are for vx vehicles, the Pcd is set right already (5x110).
Your tyre size looks ok to me but again, I'm sure there will be others to correct me if I'm wrong.
Get them on and post in the Gallery! :) :)
Best of luck should look lovely! :y :y

They are Vectra-C SRi 19" Snowflakes not VXR.
They fit straight on.
The spacers added are to help the wheels fill the arches better and I had them even when I had the standard Elite 17" wheels fitted.
The car has MV6 suspension, so it 15mm lower than a standard Elite too.
You should be fitting 235x35x19 to these wheels. My standard tyres were 235x45x19.
I'm thinking about 265x30x19 for the rear, but haven't done it yet. I do know that they fit fine and hte dynamic rolling radius is consistent (within tolerance).
