Title: trailer tent

i'm thinking of getting rid of the big tent we have and getting a trailer tent
what makes do people recomend and can you tell me what to look out for when buying a used trailer tent
i know there is loads on ebay but dont fancy buying one to later on find out there is more wrong than what they are saying

Well if the worst happens, they make great trailers when all the inners are ripped out Nick. 8-) 8-) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)

ive got a trailer here
i had to get one from the pain we had at the york meet
managed to get a freebie :y

Unless you have to space to store it in the dry during the winter months.....they can be a pain to dismantle, so the tent part/beds you can store in the dry, while the trailer stays outside

Dont think i would want to store one outside during the winter with the tent part still attached, i can see it going mouldy pretty quick.

think i'll stick with the tent and the trailer :y

Used a Conway trailer tent for years.  Like them for what they are.  Bed space up off the floor, removable kitchen/cooker/sink, wired electrics, and able to be stored on its side within the garage.

Watch for mouldy canvas as well as usual canvas things such as tears and waterproofness.
