hi jim its worth about £2000/£2500 dealer will give you about 1800 mate if your lucky
-
Cheers Deano, I think I'll keep it then. I don't know another car that can be a luxury car one minuite, then put the seats down and I've got a builders truck the next.
I got 400kg of paving slabs in it one time. Sunk a bit on the springs, but it still drove ok!

If you want to know what its worth in the real world (bottom book), try glass's website. It costs, but at least you get a good idea.

yes jim no what you mean i have a 960 2.5 24v volvo estate for all that sort of work and it still will do 120mph with half a ton in it mate can see why the police use them and omegas

I've just done a valuation on Glasses wesite. By giving the reg no. it knows the model. I just entered the mileage and paid the £3.50 and Bobs your Auntie.
Trade in -excellent £1011
Trade in - average £890
Trade in - below av.£766
Retail £3220
private sale £2470
About what we thought then. I still think I'll keep it though.......

Not sure if still available but you could get a glasses price through the www.vauxhall.co.uk website for free....regardless what make and model car you wanted a value on
Yep still there here's the link

Just tried the link (being miffed at spending £3.50) :'(. The vauxhall site only gave trade in values, not a private sale or retail price. The trade in values were virtually the same though.

Yeah, I think thats because idiots would take it to a Vx dealer expecting 'Private Good' prices, and get upset when offered trade in price....

A rule of thumb is add about 500 to 750 for private sale....dealers add anything upto 2000 depending on how much recon, warranty, service, paying VAT on any profit etc has to be paid let alone a profit
