I would say maybe one other in the near future but as being reported on Sky News at the moment, Purnell has also called for the Prime Minister to stand down.  A bold move indeed

Sugar gets peerage.

So now we are to be ruled by Lord Sugar and Lord Mandelson, neither of whom we elected.

Democracy in action!  >:(

* Lord Adonis to be Transport Secretary - that makes three unlected members of cabinet.

* Labour MP Ian Gibson resigns - means by-election in Norwich

* Hoon, Beckett and McNulty also going.

* Pound slides on turmoil.

GB more concerned about clinging to power than the state of the country, methinks.  >:( >:( >:( >:(

Youthinks correctly Nick. :y

Concerning 'Sir' Sugar, what will people not do for a peerage?

This notion that honours signify a recognition of true worth is patent nonesence when one considers the caliber of the canditates put forward - especially the latest one ;)

It'd be amusing if it wasn't such a travesty. Anyone else want a peerage? Just kiss Brown's butt and you're in.

Would the last one out please turn off the lights? ::)

.. although, as nobody has got round to making any decisions on energy policy (or anything else that matters) lately, I guess they won't have to bother. ;D

It would be Nick it it wasn't so serious.  It's beyond reason now and as I'm listening to Broon's news conference on Sky at the moment, I have no inclination of altering that view. ;)

The Prime Minister seems to be in denial and unaware that the game now seems to be up, this is a bloody disgrace :D

As Richard Littlejohn often says when speaking of this government,"you couldnt make it up". ::)
If Brown was still connected to reality in any way rather living on the planet which is his enormous ego,he would have done the dignified thing by now and stepped down.
He probably thinks that he waited for all those years for B.liar to get out of his way,so he isnt going to give it up a minute before he has to. >:(

Well Labour now only have 4 county council seats in Leicestershire including loosing Coalville to the BNP.

And for the first time I can think of, Nottinghamshire is a hung council! (very strong Labour)
