Title: Question about TC card?

My neighbour has managed to break his drivers sun visor on his veccyC, apparently a spring has snapped  :-/ I carnt think where there would be a spring in a sun visor.... :-/

He went to local vx dealer who told him....there about £45 for a new visor but if you know anyone with a TC card, then there about 1/2 that....so as he did...me...he ordered one.

I thought TC card only applied to popular service items....so how come a sun visor is included or is vx dealer lying to him.......obviously sun visor isnt listed in the book.....lost my password for tradeclub site...so carnt look on there......ive got my doubts to be honest!

my understanding is that the TC applies to any part bought from a participating vauxhall stealership

I dare say someone will give the full correct answer soon enough....I seem to have a knack of being 98% there but need help with the last bit ;D

I tried looking on the TC site this morning but "the book" page was down for updating to this years price list, so can't help at the moment. Also there was absolutly nothing showing on the obsolete page either.

Umm no not all parts.....hence why i was dubious about sun visor  :-/

nope i didnt believe this would be part of the trade club - many dealers to give discounts on non tc parts ( if your lucky) but not strictly by the book so to speak.

Marks DTM is in the loop re how it really works....

I worked at a main vauxhall dealership so I'm usually able to get most bits and bobs at staff price...i.e still got mates working there who will buy on my behalf

...mine too - wanted to give me a £80 discount on Irmy stainless steel back box.

Unfortunatly Mrs Markie wanted to give me a black eye if i bought it...( still working on her)  :y
