Title: Funeral....

All is now sorted regards dads funeral as i`ve had some probs arranging it i.e. disbursements and no money to pay upfront for em even though dad had a funeral plan.It seems even in this current climate companies are unwilling to trust you so i had to ring around and finnally found a funeral director willing to take my word and make 1 phone call to the insurance company and arrange the funeral,thats 1 hell of a weight of my shoulders now and i can go about sorting the bills out for the house and put em in my name for the foreseeable future....

Not easy to sort even at the best of times. Hope you get what you want and all goes well.

Be careful they don't try and 'suggest' a few extras to make the day go better. Each extra has a charge.

Glad to hear you're getting things sorted now. It's a sad sign of the times when even a funeral plan isn't sufficient to get things moving without cash upfront!

Did'nt you recently lose your Mum as well? That's a rough trot mate, you have my genuine sympathies. My folks are getting on now (i'm 46) & it's terrifying.

i know what your going through mate i had to sort my dads funeral last year. it was the hardest thing i ever had to do my thoughts are with you mate . as other members have siad if we can help in any way you know where we are ;; good luck mate :y
