Following the advice of her physiotherapist, my 5 months pregnant wife has taken my Omega off of me as apparently the driving position of her Galaxy is not helping the serious back and pelvic pain she is suffering from. Apparently the barge will be much better for her to drive around in.
And I've just get her running really well thanks to Marks DTM, and fixed lots of silly little niggles that have been needing doing for ages.
Ho hum - the price you have to pay for a nights pleasure ::)

For who !!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D

Well I don't remember who was giggling at the time, but she certainly is having the last laugh now - taking my favourite toy off of me :(
-
Trade the galaxy for a nice elite, problem solved. :y
-
Now there's a thought, but with shortly to be 3 kids, the space in the galaxy is good.

Go and have a look in the back - do you see three seat belts - problem solved :y
-
Oh if only it were that simple :(
-
3 kids?...How did families cope in the days before people carriers?? ;)
-
I'm from a family of 5 kids, we never had a people carrier...
-
My facelift Omega was taken off me the day I handed over the cash for it!
-
I have no problems with 3 children in the back - plenty of room

Because of the tunnel, the middle can be a little uncomfy as they get bigger...

I can get 3 full kiddie seat across the back of the Omega, so it's not impossible, however there is so much more leg room for them in the galaxy. It's frightening even in a big car like the omega, how much space these child seats take up. I'm of avaerage height (5' 10") so my seat isn't all the way back by any means, but my 2 year old is constantly kicking the back of my seat as that is how far forward the child seat puts her. How do people manage in tiny cars?

If ever I kicked the back of my dads seat, he would beat the living crap out of me, hence I never did it.

3 Kids, 1 MPV, 1 Omega - perfect setup, works a treat for me :y
-
The MPV looks like a rubbish bin, only rubbish bins are cleaner. ;D
My little one knows that in daddy's car under no circumstances is it allowed to (a) consume any food and drink (b) step with muddy shoes on the leather seats (c) kick the back of daddy’s seat. All three rules are regularly ignored but daddy is too soft to exercise discipline… :-[
The two older ones know that they are not allowed to slam the doors on the Omega, but should close them slowly. Not quite there yet, but I’m working on it and have made a lot of progress over the past five years. :-/

Safer without safety before legality

Just move up here, big thing on radio today is Greater Manchester plod ain't gonna enforce the child seat regs, they say they are happy if kids just use a seat belt. Pity they don't take the same lenient view over tax discs cos a newky brown label is much cheaper ;D.
