Maybe announcing retirement and introducing the new anonymous stig?

I read part of an interview with Julian Bailey today where he said the there were 4 stigs and he was 1 of them but he wasnt meant to talk about it.

Just out of interest, did you notice that "stig" backwards is "gits". I wonder if that's where they got the name from.  ;)

as far as i no the REAL stig is Ben Collins, he was mentioned in the HSE report for the Richard hammond Jet car crash that Ben Collins, "who worked closely with Top Gear as a high performance driver and consultant", also i have a friend who's daughter works for the company who supply the camera crew and they said its Ben too, i think that they said its Shumacher as its a great way to introduce him, if u look at it when he takes his crash helmet off he winks a Jeremy,   :y

The fact that he got lost going around the track indicates that it was a ruse and at the end it shows special guest Michael Schumacher :y

Also that new Ferrari Fxx is kept at the factory for the owners and they get it delivered to a track or something everytime they want to use it, maybe the only way Ferrari would allow it around the track is with Shumacher being there, after all he still works for them, maybe he is one of the lucky 30 to own one too...
