Title: East Anglia Meet this weekend
Post by: Lazydocker on 29 June 2009, 20:18:24
Just a reminder really!  :y :y :y

Also, should we have a list here for any planned work? I'm just hoping to manage a bit of Tech 2 communication problem solving... But it doesn't matter if it doesn't happen ::) ::)

I also think we need to be a bit more sensible with the amount of food we bring along...... Last year we all brought food for ourselves and a couple of others and ended up throwing away enough food to feed a Third World Country :o :o :o I think we should be a little more sensible this year :y :y :y

Any thoughts?

Oh... And anyone else who wants to come, you can call the site and try and get in... Just tell them you're with the Omega Owners! You may end up in a slightly different area but TBH the site isn't that big :y :y :y

Well if Postman Pat gets his finger out and delivers on time, we will have a 1/10 scale model miggy to play with.

I think CaptainZok's son Tonygnome is going to fitting my new coolant tank for me. :y  I need to get about a litre of coolant to top up from spillage but any recommendations on what coolant to get?

Just had a look and it's a pinkish colour so I assume I need to get some red stuff from VX.

you would only likely need the 1litre if buying, but I would go for the 5, plenty for future topups then

sorry to say im getting it by the 20litre!  and im only using 10-20% coolant

Well if Postman Pat gets his finger out and delivers on time, we will have a 1/10 scale model miggy to play with.
In my teenage years, I used to race rc cars, and was pretty bloody good at it as well. Was also on the committee of the local RC club.

This was back in the days of Kyosho Optima Mids and Schumacher CATs.  In fact, I think I still have a CAT Pro in the shed ::)

It looks like I will be paying a flying visit on saturday.
Amigov6 has very kindly offered to collect some tyres for me from Markey Mark and bring them with him.
Probably time  for a quick hello/goodbye and then rush off again. :)

The arse bite has occured already, hence the weak solution, going through over 1 litre a day, the head will be done before tooooo long.

dunno if the coreplug is leaking more than it ever did, or whether it is the HG as symptoms are different - i never find the car in a puddle this time.

I just want a little cooling and rust protection, when I do the gearbox in a week or 2 I should have a better idea

the 1998 3.0l HG is normally the back outside corner of the 2/4/6 bank :(

aye, it is, ive a tyre valve and an old cap.
also got a leaky coreplug, ticking manifolds, and poss HG

gearbox getting swapped out asap, should be visible water at the back i reckon.

should do some smell tests on coolant tanks as well, really not sure mine is as pure antifreeze as it once was.
