Went to work this morning. Customer said she would meet me with materials she had supplied.
After half an hour she did not appear and no answer from the door or the telephone.
I noticed the key in the front door. Locked from the inside :-/
Found a neighbour and he agreed I should break in. So forced a window and entered. :y
We found her on the floor by her bed clutching her heart tablets. She passed away in the night. Alone :'( :'(
A crap day.

Very grim, indeed. :'(

Never a pleasant experience Tonka, just shows how tenuous a hold on life we really have.
Should make the best of it each and every day :y
.....and always spare some time for others

Last chap I discovered like that was sat in his armchair in front of the telly with a glass of whiskey on the arm --- looked very peaceful. Nice way to go, if you have to go at all !!!!!!

My sympathies....
Been there with strangers and relatives alike. It can certainly spoil your day...
Best way I found to personally deal was to treat the late departed with as much courtesy, common decency and decorum as I would like to receive, had the circumstances been reversed.
Whilst it had no effect on the late departed, in all honesty, it certainly made me feel as though I had 'paid my dues', so to speak..... :'(

....having seen too much of it and heard the accompanying comments made by more than a few of my beloved brethren, this was one of the few ways I could remain objective, treat the incident and the victim with due dignity and readjust myself to hope for some sort of normality after work.

Yes HC has now 'come out' as the genuine Prussian Graf Von Holy Count, with now a wonderful coat of arms belonging to his old Prussian family 8-) 8-) 8-).
His Prussian family were acquaintances of Otto Eduard Leopold Von Bismarck, Prince of Bismarck, Duke of Lauenburg, Count of Bismarck-Schönhausen, and personal friends of the Kaiser Wilhelm II, when young HG started in life, playing with models of the High Seas Fleet given to him by his uncle Alfred von Tirpitz .
How do you like your formal family history Graf Von Holly Count? :-/ :-/ ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;) I can research further for a reasonable fee ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;) ;)
