Title: Life Insurance
Post by: Vamps on 07 July 2009, 22:35:47
My Life insurance apparently is up for a 10 year review, which basically means I have to double my premium to keep the same cover. And another review in 5 years time >:( Is this usual?
I bought it, alongside the house 10 years ago, and was of the understanding that payments continued and the cover remains the same.  I have complained to the company, said I have been miss-led when taking out the policy, they have passed this onto their complaints department.

Problem is, I can not 'spit my dummy out' this was taken out before serious health problems which would effect me if I went somewhere else. :'( :'(
Just run a couple of these over 50 plans expensive for not much return.
Tried one of the compare sites, took my details and then said reps would contact me, not like car insurance where they give a quote. Now I am going to get loads of calls >:(

About 5 years ago I was quoted around £300 per month for £50,000 cover having declared my health.
Guess I am going to have to 'bite the bullet' and pay the extra >:( >:( >:(
