Oh joy of joys, the posties are at it again. >:( >:(

This is really annoying as I need to prepare something to mail out to an address in Central London this week.
Sorry, but I just can't understand why they're striking. Are they being forced up chimneys again?
Incidentally, my postie drives a rather nice M3.

Steel yourself, Nick - this looks to be the start of a protracted period of public sector industrial action ;)

Yes indeed Zulu, with, in the Royal Mail's case, a further march towards private commercial courier firms taking up the opportunity left by a sub-standard service, yet again. When will the postal unions learn?? ::) ::) ::)

[rural irony]It`s in London; "we`re" not too bothered![/rural irony] ;D
Our postal 'service' [sic] has been so bad for the recent few years, I can`t think if it might be possible to know if they were striking or not: long transit-delays, late or non deliveries, closure of sorting office counters, frequent broken-open letters and parcels, items missing and general shabby service.....and that`s without industrial action! ::)

I'm surprised Debs that they don't still use carrier pigeons where you live! ::) ::) :D :D ;)

as a postie myself i can safely say........
no, i have no idea why they're striking either!!
I do my job cos it keeps my bills paid, i do my job well because i take pride in my work, regardless of who my employer is, so its a shame there are a lot of posties who dont see it the way i do
