that is just sad
what's next >:(

Why is your Government so completely obsessed with energy and spying on people? :-/
I realise now why any British person I talk to is surprised when they find out that council tax is non existant here.
It's your rather home. If some energy efficient w@nker knocked here I'd tell him where to put his global warming and not to fart for fear of killing foxes >:( >:(
-
So flying around aimlessly in aircraft doesn't "waste energy" then?
I pay my gas bill. If I choose to have the windows open and the heating on I will, thanks. >:(

Yes, but you cant drive around in a hot tub :D
Actually, anyone in Norfolk hears a plane flying around should take the p1ss with the heating to see what happens ::)

the coppers up her tend to fly above the estates on a night using thermal camara's looking for "hot spots".
so they can find places where people grow a certain green leafed plants ;) ;)

.....that's what immediately indicates the utter stupidity of this Mike.
It's a bandwagon and every 'climb up the pole at whatever cost' local government wannabe is in there, irrespective of the sense it makes - or not.
Those concerned with implementing government policy on energy efficiency must be on their knees giving thanks and rubbing their grabby hands in glee at the amount of money they will be able to blag from us.
It's a bloody joke, but only of the worst and most condescending and disingenuous nature.

Personally, having gone to considerable effort to insulate my house & fitted solar heating as well, I would not mind seeing a thermal image of it so that I could identify where further work was required :)

Certainly, the aim of the scheme is good. However, surely the common sense approach would not be to hire a plane costing thousands a time whilst probably producing more pollution than the scheme will actually save, but have environmental officers doing the rounds in a more green and less expensive manner?
I dont have any issues with the cause, but it does anger me a bit to think all the money we pay them gets spent as carelessly and unproductively as this. >:(
