What a stupid waste!! >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

As so often said before, how much energy and carbon omissions does it take to build a new car!!!  Then there is the issue of scrapping a poor miggy; more energy and emissions! >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Just plain bloody stupid and crazy!!!! >:( >:( >:( >:(

Despite the spin it's got b. all to do with conservation ( in reality, just the opposite!). BTW local ford dealer here has it's own "scrappage" deal of £1200 against their used cars.

Yes indeed, their brains are so twisted, warped, and completely out of touch with reality that they really do believe selling a few thousand more cars is going to do so much good ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::).

With yet another 280,000 joining the dole queues over the last quarter, and the total unemployment figure climbing fast towards 3,000,000, it is really going to help, I do not think! >:( >:( >:( >:(!

Roll on the General Election!!! 8-) 8-) 8-)

Could well be ---- might have a look and see what's on offer  ( not with the miggy tho -- although we are soon to part ways, not to a scrapper)

The scrappage scheme has f*ck all to do with being green, it was only set up to reel in the silly c*nts who are too stupid to realise it's just another way to get themselves in hock.

PS

Any silly c*nts here who have already taken advantage of the "scrappage" scheme.....give me a PM.....I have a bridge for sale you may be interested in.

We have a similar scheme here in Spain. Not desperately popular with the Spaniards. a) cos they never change their cars b) because of the approx 7%  transfer tax payable on a new car to the local government c) 18% unemployment (official figure so unofficially much higher) .   Daft

How do the Dutch have the lowest unemployment in Europe at 3.25%?

El varche

Go On Darth Vader try introducing a transfer tax for sellers AND buyers in the UK - dare you.

If they weren't such a bunch of homophobic, racist, hypocritical (Nick Griffin has already batted for the same side in the bedroom/public toilets) ar*eholes, I'd vote for them tomorrow.
