Title: DVLA stats re peformance omegas left on the road
Post by: humbucker on 14 March 2009, 23:27:25
these figures published in the new issue of total vauxhall are from the dvla and illustrate the number of performance omegas on the road in europe

if you're looking at the magazine itself they used a pic of my car next to the stats!   8-)

nice to see so many still knocking around:

MV6 3.0 SAL 1149
MV6 3.0 EST 543
MV6 3.2 SAL 150
MV6 3.2 EST 36
V6 ELITE 3.0 SAL 3264
V6 ELITE 3.0 EST 927
V6 ELITE 3.2 SAL 495
V6 ELITE 3.2 EST 210

majority listed as automatic

That might be why they can sell for £7995.

No figures for a 2.0L gls estate I notice, is it not considered a performance car then. ::) ::) ::)

3.0 and 3.2's only. they've listed the top performance models of each vehicle covered (the only cavalier mk3's listed are gsi's, cesaros, turbos and sri's and the only novas are sr, sri, gte, gsi. no base models)

Pity - mind you some of the so called sporty small ones are not sporty compared to a V6

Interesting reading. Be nice to found out how few are manual.
Best hang onto the Beastie if she's becoming a rare breed! 8-)

All he needs to do now is convert it to a manual, and it will be even more special!

Would this be the same DVLA who have admitted (under FOI) that their database contains errors totalling in excess of 30% ?
