Post by: Tonka. on 18 July 2009, 22:23:09
Most 4x4 drivers are normal level headed people but this guys actions beggar belief

what a prat. he's now got 6yrs ( will be out shortly after 2.5 probably) instead of 3points and a £60 fine. personaly think he should of gotten the book thrown at him.

think the officer in the car was lucky the bonnet folded up over the screen.

I could never explain to myself, a person living in a city why would want to drive over a 2 tonne expensive tank
unless

1.you are a scared driver from traffic
2.you decide to go for a a road  battle

a small investigation will show 90% of 4*4 monsters never used out of the road..(except the ones used in village)

As the news report has lied about the Terrano's weight (they ain't 3 ton at all, they are 95 KG heavier than a MIG), then I'm wondering what else they have chosen to leave out of the story.

a 2 ton sedan is for luxury..  but a 4*4 is for mountain ..

you buy a luxury sedan for speed and comfort..

but a fast 4*4 on curves will sweep all other cars in case of accident and even pass over them :(

It seems to be becoming a more common practice of reversing at cop cars.  Seen it a few times on on the TV shows like road wars.  :-/
