This government have been taking the piss for years, have you only just realised?

There is an OAP where we live who was banned for standing by the side of the A325 while wearing a sandwich board warning drivers there was a speed camera ahead of them.

How that ever warranted a driving ban being handed out I'll never know, especially as he was only charged with obstructing a constable.

Sooner or later the public are going to react, and I can't wait for the kick off.

This is not particularly new, previously people have been refused criminal injuries compensation after the most horrific attacks/rapes as they have a minor conviction from their teenage years i.e nicking a Mars bar, affray etc.

Due to the fact the CI board is staffed by pillars of society who have no idea what happens in the real world.

Yes they have been out of line many years ago but don't deserve discrimination in this manner after suffering at someone elses hand.

You've got to remember that we are in a general election year. The resident idiots will moot all kinds of ridiculous policies, just to guage public reaction. If the general public remember just how many times this government have f**ked up over the past years and refuse to believe the bullshit they will propogate over the next 12 months, then it wont matter a fig, because they'll be in the wilderness for years to come.

disgusted doesn't seem to cover it, but its a family based forum.   I dont want the blokes job who has to tell a rape victim the compensation will be halved for a speeding ticket he/she has payed the fine for along with the increased insurance premiums
