A ford explorer, just for a laugh and they sound good too  :D

So does my son, trying to get one in a swap with the Scorpio but the mrs. isn't having none of it  :(

Each to their own - but I too fancied one of these when my Omega was written off a couple of years ago, so I went and bought a late "North face" special edition from Kent - I knew by the time I had driven it to the Dartford Crossing that I had made a mistake.  I kept it 4 weeks before deciding enough was enough and sold it.  The leaf springs on the rear made it very floaty, and they sound nice but no poke at all :( back seat is just a foam covered plank - seriously - go and have a drive of one before you part with your cash :)

Regards

Darren

That's odd, normally it is the Scorpio that the Mrs usually wants rid off!  :-?

I had one as a demo when I worked and Ford (Fix or repair daily)(found on road dead). It drove ok! then, well it was new, but it had no go and you slid right across to the passanger side when you went round a roundabout. try the 3.2? Frontera. I preffered that and still hancker after another or of course just go and get a good softdash Range Rover Classic 3.9 Vouge. You will love that and never want to drive anything else. Buy shares in BP though ;D :y

Wasn't it the Explorer where a few went ballistic, crashing on full power leaving the driver(?passenger?) bewildered.

Some blamed cruise control but there were lots of denials. :question
