I have flown may times into O'Hare with United & they really are a crap airline
BMI once damaged one of my guitars on a flight from Dublin even after I carried it to the departure gate, but they paid up for repairs as BA did to an expensive Melodeon in a full flight case that was shattered after being dropped onto the apron from the cargo hold. It takes a lot to flatten steel 'ball corners' on a case but they managed it

Remember United treat their staff very very poorly so why shjould customers be treated any better? ;D ;D ;D

But at least on a 767 you get to listen to the flight deck on channel 9 which is better than the other programs available!
