Whilst some on OOF are exorcised by other another issue; the last of a generation whom fought in the Great War; the "War to end all wars"....fighting to give us the privilege of freedom to speak and think 'as we will' (and also the freedom to exhibit self control and respect for others.) has passed away to his peaceful-rest.
Harry Patch (aged 111): thankyou for your 'gift' of bravery and freedom.

Rip all of the men who fought in the "great war" heros everyone of them. The conditions that they had to survive in are unimaginable. The end of an era, with the passing of the last WW1 veteran :'(
