The blokes a tool, he has a holiday home on the Isle of Man and has upset the locals because his new home has a right of way on it and he now wants to remove the right of way, its probably been there for hundreds of years, who does he think he is.

He (and the other Top Gear presenters) is definitely sinking to new lows in a effort to stay at the front of popular tv.

When he has me sticking up for Mr Brown he has overstepped the mark!

too true but in this sad pathetic politicaly correct country we live in, your not aloud to say what you think anymore in case it upsets some insecure small minded person and infringes there human rights  >:(

it makes me laugh that the one thing that used to set the british out from the rest of the world was the ability to take the piss out each other and not start blubbing.

good job he's not ginger  ;D

Exactly, what's wrong with that?!  If that word had been broadcast, maybe it becomes a different matter of decency, but with a purely adult audiance "off air"?  Good on him!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;) ;)

Oh come on! :(

It was a "not-for-broadcast comment." I would imagine Brown himself has used the same word for any number of his many detractors.

Funny that the person who witnessed this dobbed Clarkson in to the Guardian of all papers.  ::) ::) ::)

In any event, I agree with Clarkson's assessment.  ;)

Actually i believe its his 'official' home, his wife was born there and i think thats its official address. Wonder if it has anything to do with the flat rate 22% tax on the Island  ::)

Hmmmmmmmmm....
This forum.
Last night.

No-one is allowed to say, do or criticise anyone in Britian anyore because we've become a bunch of hand-wringing whinge bags with one eye on what is PC and the other on issues that we don't want "in my back yard".
Much as I'm not a great fan of Clarkson, he does have the right to an opinion and he does talk some sense - not alot, but some.

That is not in dispute, especially by me, but to use a word that is still offensive to many on a public medium is wrong.

However, it was never intended for "on air" use, so as I said I cannot see the problem. ;) ;)
