Title: Back from my jolly's....
Post by: Welung666 on 27 July 2009, 03:10:07
Well, you may or may not have noticed but I'm back from my jolly's..... Close enough 1200 miles, average (from fuel reciepts/mileage not CID) 44.8 mpg, did M5, M6, A74M, A82 all the way up. Did roughly 100 miles up in the highlands and came back through Perth, accross the Forth Road Bridge, Jedburgh, Newcastle and down to Lincoln for the night and then A46 through Nottingham and home via A42(m), M6, M5. So very happy with the tractor. My only concern, as by the time I hit Lincoln it was due a service was the oil level warning on the CID. Pulled over and checked as soon as it came on and the dipstick showed oil was inbetween the marks, came up twice on the way home. Checked both times and when hot was on the low mark, normal when cooled!? I'm going to service it tomorrow as the oil is very black. Still very pleased with how it performed.

Seems I've missed a bit but hey ho, glad to see the addition of a couple of Mod's to the boards, hopefully that'll help keep the flow of it all :y Well done to Kev and Jim ;) :y
