Title: Mobile phones.
Post by: amigov6 on 30 July 2009, 18:46:56
Some cannot leave the house without them. I used to be one of these but lately i've got to the point where i'm sick & tired of being expected to be at everyone's beck & call & being moaned at if i'm not. Pre mobile days you could be incommunicado but that privilege seems not to be afforded nowadays. Well break 'em. I never take my phone upstairs at bedtime, or to work (i take the work phone but not my own).
We all survived without them once. ::)

I would love to see all the networks go down for a few days. What would people do with thier thumbs :-?
Kids texting as they walk to school, business men/women chopsin about nothing, but trying to look important ;D The list is probably endless :-/

After a... "incident" with my phone, I've been without one for the last couple of weeks. Absolute bliss, apart from not being able to text the OH.

Then I broke down last night on a rural road, pitch black, and was ever so grateful that OH had hers with her... :y
