Seems like common sense when council pay for upkeep and profits go to government. Like it says, money better spent elsewhere. :y :y :y

Spend the money on fixing the roads, wouldn't that make sense?
The roads in Bedfordshire are shocking at best >:(

£320,000 to maintain 4 camera's. Sounds like a lot of money and you will get loads of officers at that cost - increasing jobs should be this governments priority.

~£220 per day per camera to maintain it, sounds like a lot of money to me

i remember listening to a spokes woman from brake ,giving her professional opinion on police pursuit techniques and management. She mainly criticised the police for miss use of speed and when to pursue etc
     She couldn't drive herself because she hadn't passed her driving test . Nuff said i think
