With all the hype surrounding the return of Michael Schumaker's return to F1 while standing in for the injured Massa, how do you think he will do and is he still capable of winning? (assuming that he will race the last 7 races)
-
I think he is in a wonderful position. Fairly competitive car, nothing to prove, still fit as a fiddle. He can go out and give it some beans. Show Raikkonen up, help with the development of the car and win a race or two to boot more if it is wet.

I just wish the square chinned gob shite had been in the car at the last race meet :-X

You took the words right out of my mouth!
(You may get swine flu. :D)

Regarding the OP; Schumaker has been an advisor all season. I can't imagine the car is the way (not terribly good) it is without his input. It might make a slight difference to have him in the cockpit but I don't think the car is a winner.

You and me both. :y
Can just imagine the conversation after 1st practice...
"the traction control doesnt work, you must fix it"
"We arent allowed to use it now Michael"
but we are Ferrari,we have always had it ,rules or no rules"
Not any more Michael, times have changed"
Call Max,tell him to fix the stewards like he always did"
"No point Michael,he,s on the way out"
"This sport is getting ridiculous, how the hell are we meant to win anything if they run it like this?"
"look on the bright side Michael, hopefully Jean Todt will be in Max,s chair next year and we should be able to get back to normal then" ;)
-
I think he has been out of it too long now, and it will take all and more of the seven races to get back into winning ways ;) ;) ;)

I actually think he will do well, theres no denying he has talent, but I cant stand him because he and ferrari were cheats, they cheated every which way they could think off and were allowed to get away with it.
He was also a dangerous driver and imo he should have had a life ban many years ago.
The statistics show him as the greatest ever but to my mind he is nowhere near it,and wasnt fit to wipe Senna,s visor.

my sentiments exactly :y :y :yHe's just a cold and calculating driver who tried to intimidate all the opposition, hopefully a few of the younger drivers will put him in his place ie back into retirment with a bit of luck :y :y :y :y, and no i'm no great lover of Micheal Wallsmacker

Imo it was a combination of both,as it always is,but I will always argue that he would never have achieved all those wins and championships if he and his team had to drive/compete within the same set of rules that all the other drivers/teams did.
There was also the fact that he didnt have the same level of competition consistently through his career as some others did.He had Hakkinen and villeneuve to contend with at times but Senna Prost and Mansell were all competing at the same time as each other.
There is also the small fact that his team mates were never allowed to race against him.

Good driver in a good car but a total w*nker standing proud to his own national anthem but disrespecting everyone else's by p*ssarsing around on the podium while thiers are playing. Jacked the game in when he stopped winning (my bat my ball & i'm going home) Well break off & stay breaked off then. Recently it was suggested F1 has lost it's spriit & become as geeky as trainspotting compared to the the 60's/70's when it was white knuckle racing entertainment. The fact they've got to drag this self obsessed breakwit back into the fray only supports F1's demise.
However, every cloud etc:- MDTM & i finally agree on something. Yes he has an oversquare chisel chop chin but he's also got a piggy nose & his eyes are too close together........finally.........he is not ......& never will be..........
.....THE STIG!!!! >:( ::) :-?
