Skruntie I don't need a drum to make that noise our headboard is better most nights :D
-
For me it will be always Ginger Baker!
Poor 1960s type pop video, but listen at the drumming! Their are many versions of him drumming out an extended Toad, but this 1968 performance I think is the one of the best on film. The best most rythmic part is about 5 minutes in.

If you want a more polished version listen to him live at Filmore on the Cream Wheels of Fire CD.
:-* :-* :-* 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

Then, although playing with Cream, so not exactly solo, Ginger Baker sets the pace with superb drumming in this track, probably my favourite of all the Cream songs White Room. In this you can hear the wonderful guitar playing of Eric Clapton :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) and Jack Bruce, coupled to the rythmic drum stroking of Ginger Baker :-* :-* :-* 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

When posting you use the copied Youtube link details in between the two symbols provided when you click on the 'media' button which is that one above 'H' for highlight with the musical symbol on top of a section of film. ;) ;) ;)

Just copy the http//www. etc link showing once you have found the Youtube piece you want, then on the posting page click on the button above the "H" highlight button that has the musical symbol over a piece of film and between the two media reference / quotes that will appear paste your copied link ;) ;)
When you post message all should appear 8-) 8-) 8-)

Scott Phillips from Alter Bridge - pure class.
Taken me a while to learn drums on "Come To Life"!
Also, Dave McClaine from Machine head - saw him live supporting Metallica at Sheffield in February - :o :o :o
