One of my uncles was a tube driver many decades ago now and loved it, until one day a 'jumper' did his thing as he ran into a station! :o :o  He had to give it up. :( :( :(

That's good trainstock, I'm sure anyone who experiences that needs full support afterwards so it is brilliant it is now available 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) ;)

I just don't know how I would handle it, but hopefully I will never have to find out.  When on the footplate of steam engines on preserved lines in the past it did used to cross my mind, "what if........?".  But thank goodness there are few jumpers on those lines, if any!! 8-) 8-) 8-) ;)

its very common on the underground ,the papers dont report all the deaths as people do it for attention , every driver is different some get straight back driving , some take a bit of time and others just cant get back ,every ones different , worse aspect of the job you just put it to the back of your mind when driving and hope is does not happen to you

i spent two weeks with the emergency responce unit a while back them guys go in and clear up afterwoods any incident , they do a fantastic job  sadily not for me

That I know very well working in the power department for many years - across the whole network be two or three a day :o.  Quite shocking really that people can become so desperate to end it all - but forget about loved ones and others who have to pick up the peices afterwards.  Still out of that now, but on subject unfortunately I've ben to work today and same again tomorrow.  Not so bad though going through the training stage at the moment :y
