Well, it`s been 3 weeks now and i am finally back on the road and a big big thanx to Loo-Knee for all his help and above all all his time. :y Eventally he found that the missfire on my engine was caused by faulty Dispack and duff plug. That was after over 6 hours changing Dispack ( twice ) changing plugs and checking leads. Also checking timing, repairing burnt out wiring. A true prince among men! All this after i had taken car to "Vauxhall specialists" to have camcover gasket change, new plugs and leads. Found out that they had indeed changed leads but only 5 of the 6 plugs! A quick message to Marks DTM as well. I think Loo-Knee has well and truly passed his apprenticeship on my elite today! :y ;D ;D Thanx again :y

Not lads.. should be lad. I just held bits out of the way. Missus kept us supplied with coffee and biccys and ham sandwiches. He worked bloody hard and his face when it eventually started and purred was a picture. :y

Fitted new Dispack in the end. Tried old one with new plugs and still had missfire. He said you wouldn`t let him finish his apprenticeship. ;D ;D

Everyone is an Apprentice when against "The Master" even me I am afraid ;)
But so glad your car is going again Rob. Still puzzled about those burnt wires and cable tray though :-?
Thank Mrs. Robbo yet again for the Lovely Sandwiches and never ending Coffee, although I did turn the biscuits down today ;D
