Ok, its only a satnav.....but Ive started to get interested in geocaching....and my tomtom is rather useless at it.....and apart from it keeps crashing and rebooting itself....this satnav has an off road mode...and according to a review i read it will take you literally across country to find a GPS location....whereas my TT takes you nearest it can by road then just points an arrow in the direction....not saying how far etc you need to go >:(
So I shall see how good it is.....at GPS locations and also finding addresses/etc ......but for less than £75 i dont think i can go wrong :-/ ::)

i used to do alot of geocaching, my dog chewed up my GPS, destroying the screen a few months ago and haven't got around to replacing it yet lol

I have the garmin nuvi 300 and I'm happy with it.
you can also down load a lot of little icons instead of the stupid blue arrow, anything from a chunk of pizza or santa right up to thing like sports cars, tanks or trucks, makes a nice change and keeps the kids ammused :y

I've just come back from a couple of weeks in Toronto where I used a friend's Garmin to get me round in the rented Pontiac Grand Prix 3.5l auto. The garmin is ok but seemed to have anomalies and it got me lost a couple of times when it didn't locate itself properly against our true position. Prefer my Tom Tom but could do with a copy of GB/Europe maps for the Garmin if anyone has a copy!
