It should be noted that Millwall hold the record for taking the most fans to Wembley.
That is both Wembleys old and new.
In 1999 they sold 59000 tickets for the auto windscreen - mickey mouse cup, against wigan loosing to an injury time goal from wigan, a memorable day out when rivers of 'p' flowed down wembley way.
In 2009 they sold 44000 tickets for the 'play off' final against SLady bitshorpe, loosing, some would say unluckily, by 3 goals to 2.
Both of these records will probably remain until the next time Millwall appear at wembley, which probably wont be in the carling cup this year.

It should be noted that Millwalls average home attendance is 'inversely' proportional to their attendances at Wembley.Dont ask me to explain why.

Being a Chelsea Fan from Birth i have seen a few tear-ups with both Millwall and West Ham and all i can say is "its a London thing" True London people will understand :y

It is a 'London thing' between these two.Met police obviously very worried (as usual at any sign of a Millwall ambush)
Millwall alocated whole of the Trevor Brooking stand (about 6000) but originally given only 3000 tickets by West Ham,and now Met police have reduced that to 1500,so maybe lots of ticketless fans out on the streets.
Met police have a history of shooting themselves in the foot for this one.
And it is a game that musters up a few strange 'bedfellows'
