Title: Am I a sad loner???

Please read the rest of the message before you say YES  ;D ;D ;D

From reading the threads on the forum I am coming to the conclusion that most of the members appear to be based in the southern area of the country.

Am I all alone up here in Leeds or are there some members in my neck of the woods?  :-? :-?

It would be nice to attend some of the meets and perhaps a cambelt party, However all the action seems to be a bit far for me to travel.  Am I realy a sad loner up here?????   :'( :'( :'(

No, not at all....infact the next get together is in your neck of the woods......for a tour of Drax pwoer station.

Any idea of the volume of members that are in the yorkshire area???

Any idea of the date of that get together?

I am not far from you, I live near the BRadford M606 junction. Perhaps we should arrange a get together for all the Omega's up this neck of the woods ;D

There are exactly 1341 Omega members in the Northern area. 1,339 of those are in Nottingham, 1 in derby (laidback) and the rest are all in and around Leeds.

Ok, so that is a lie. I made it up. But then 95% of all statistics are made up anyway. I made that up too.

Mark is in Noittingham and Laidback is in derby. I am in Nottingham, which is all true. So there are some in this region at least. One of the above three mentioned founder members is a damned good mechanic with extensive knowledge and skills with the Omega, which few would deny. Mark and Laidback are not so bad either.

That's a top idea ken, we should try and organise a get together up here.   :y

Unless we realy are the only 2 members round Leeds.  That could be an embarrasing turnout. :-[ :-[

Once I get my car running again it may be worth looking into.  Just waiting for a selector switch from Jamesv6cdx to arrive next week and then my monster should be road bound once more.  ;D ;D

Theres at least three members in the liverpool area, at least one from Preston and one from Wigan that I know about and I'm sure there is more in the north, so no you are not alone :y
It would be useful to have some sort of geographical list of members, is that possible mods?

Alas, no.  As some people put county, town, village, area - all which make it difficult to do an area by area list...
