It's a fair enough comment M but for me, the rather raw sexual tone of this one devalues the humour :y :y

It's OK to take the piss out of the disabled, but god help you if you mention sex or certain words that are in the English Oxford  ::)

I Like that Mike
The joke topics of late have hit a bit close to home for me recently ,My wife and Dad have Diabetes ,I'm disabled and my cousin had his left leg amputated 3 years ago and his right leg amputated 2 weeks ago .So i think it boils down to this, if you don't think its funny don't laugh .At the end of the day its gallows humor which is something every one needs now and then .
I remember a few people on here saying they have diabetes or family has it in 1 form or another ,that's the main reason my cousin had his legs amputated .He didn't pay close enough attention to his ingrowing toe nail of (all things)

I sent this to jonnycool after he removed his joke from this thread.

Hi JC

As you've seen there's quite a few jokes appear on the forum some hit it off some don't - there's no big deal.

I love jokes and laugh at some quite questionable ones as I have a weird sense oh humour.

The elephant joke didn't gell with me as the explicit punchline jarred the humourous aspect of the tale not the language as such, but that's down to me not anyone else  - some others would have found it humourous without doubt.

Please don't think I was having a go at you I wasn't and please don't stop posting jokes, we all depend on humour to get through the day.

If you have others which might have 'robust' content simply label the item NWS and everyone will have a fair idea of what's coming up. :y

Looking forward to some more.

All the best.

Same thing happened to my father in law.  His condition was well advanced mind you.  Despite all efforts gangerene developed and he lost his right foot.

He never fully recovered and died within the year.  That's why foot management and so on for people with diabeties is so important :y

I think a lot of the non PC stuff is acceptable as long has it carries an appropriate title, even ig it's just noted by changeing the smiley icon.

Most of us are grown up, a lot have a few problems of there own.  But one thing this forum used to have was a bloody good sence of humour.

Where has it gone?

On the first point, I completely agree :y :y

On the second, not too far I hope as humour is essential on a daily basis in my view - even moggy's brand  :y :y :y
