Not Omega related directly, but i have been looking at laptops to go with a cheapo Tech2. Saw one that looked suitably cheap, bid, lost. Noticed the next day that it was re listed for 24 hours. Kept an eye on it, somebody won it, then a few hours later it was re listed again. Appears to be a private seller.

What do you reckon?

He's sold a few & has good feedback, probably ex-business models that he can get hold of......

not answering your question, but that is a slow laptop, suspect it may not be capable of controlling your tech2
I have one slightly less powerfull than that! and it doesnt work, I run mine on a 1.2 ghz.
I would guess a 1 ghz processor is about the minimum, maybe a bit less, certainly wouldn't try on under 500mhz.
Good luck

I agree, i can spot an ebay scammer a mile off, i know all their tricks! This guy's pretty genuine, just has plenty of stock that can be covered by the same listing descriptions each time

got a male to male adapter for my tech2 to go into my laptop only to find it still wasnt the right connector! had to fork out for another kit at £12.99 but all set up now, will be testing it out at the weekend. will bring it down to any meets to help out. tone.

You can only go off his feedback and that looks good enough
