I can smell the hypocrisy from here. The Met office was hijacked by the climate change fascists a few years ago and has become so bad at predicting the weather its almost funny.
They said it was going to be a scorching hot summer this year. ::)
They also said (on the channel I was watching)that it was going to rain all day today, its been a very nice day here. ::)

Thanks for that link, Sassenach. Yes, it's very ironic, but frankly I'm not surprised. The Met Office is becoming a source of ridicule in the wider community.

Barbeque summer? Cobblers.  >:( ;) ;D

It just shows how there is a kind of panic by officials, who actually know nothing about climate change, over meeting the public relations requirement to adhere to the belief and manta to "protect to the environment" that facts and common sense are lost in the process ! ::) ::) ::)  Ludicrous!!! >:( >:(

They spend millions on computers, yet they (Hadley Centre, part of the Met Office) can't even keep records!  ::) ::)

"Want proof that global warming exists? Sorry, my dog ate it."

"The world’s source for global temperature record admits it’s lost or destroyed all the original data that would allow a third party to construct a global temperature record."

Me, cynical? No way.

I'm just a realist...like Mr Bridger (Noel Coward) in The Italian Job:
