Title: Well thats done it!

Handed in my notice yesterday, i accepted the new job. Current place offered me a 12k pay rise to stay, but i think its time to move on. New job is double what my current base is and for less hours.

Its contract work, which is a risk, but its the time to do this kind of thing when i have no loans / debts / mortgage and such .

I shall be working for Sky in their mobile dept, working with iPhone and Operator connections.

Companies like O2 in the UK and loads of other operators in the world connect to Sky to get video clips of football and news for their mobile sites, so i will be working behind the scenes making sure its all working.

Get to work on their mobile TV streaming as well  8-)

The day i handed it in, we had a company do with drinks, cake bake competition, and some usual Mario Kart games ....

Going to miss all that and the strong social scene here, but career wise i need to move on.

well done fpor taking the plunge mate, contract work is a bit of a scarey situation, been there done it many years, but found i only needed to work six months of the year  as i was earning so much!!!! DONT FALL INTO THAT TRAP!!! lolol
 by the way need a newsky card if you can help!!! :y
