Title: Sleeping bags

I need a couple of sleeping bags, can anyone recommend any. I don't like the mummy type though ;)

If there is one near by, Go Outdoors is pretty good, cos they are usuall on display and you can see what you are buying.

If you can get your hands on some army jungle style off ebay they are excellent. The bigger bouncing bomb type would be too warm but the jungle ones can be connected together to make doubles too  ::) ::) ::)

I brought one of these earleir this year ,its warm as toast ...http://www.rodnline.com/3889253/Gardner-Sub-Zero-(4-Season)-Sleeping-Bag.html stacks of room in it and I'm no skinny minnie thatss for sure ;D ;D ;D

I like the vango Nitestar XL, suits the larger gent's build  :y

best sleeping bag ive ever had  :y

Im fussy on bags...did get some looks trying it out in the shop  ;D ;D ;D

Thats what I liked about the JRC which is even bigger than the Vango, there's room to grow into it ::) ;D

i can't stand it too hot, so I bought a couple of 'down to 3C(comfort)/-5(I think, extreme)' £2.99 specials from go outdoors. rectangle type ones, as i tend to unzip and get under it, rather than in it.

tescos had bags half price last week (extra stores only i guess)

I had a vango "mummy" style thing which i hated - no wriggle room - bought a cheap large square one from Tesco's which does me nicely  :y

Pete just bought 2 of these on recommendation from a friend. Plenty of room and nice and warm.
